Small Mexican Guitar

This is an example of small guitars made in mexico mainly fot rhw tourist trade. Generally they are cheap and only barely playable and intended as a souvenir or a childs starter/toy. It is strung with steel strings. It is small, being only 28 inches overall.

Curiously the woods and the detailing are reasonably good (The inlay around the sound hole is real). Given some love and adjustment of both the nut and the bridge they can be made playable but they are tinny in tone and generally not worth the money.
